CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

Meet The Muse is owned and operated by Meet The Muse SARLS.

This Cancellation and Refund Policy governs the conditions applicable to the cancellation of bookings, absences, no-shows, and refunds related to services managed through the Meet The Muse platform. By making a booking and payment, users expressly accept the provisions contained in this policy.

1. GENERAL PRINCIPLES ON REFUNDS

Refunds, when applicable, will be made exclusively through the same payment method used for the original transaction and will be subject to the terms, conditions, and fees applied by external payment service providers, including, without limitation, Stripe transaction costs.

Stripe transaction fees are non-refundable under any circumstances, as these costs are beyond the control of Meet The Muse.

Meet The Muse acts solely as a technological intermediary and does not guarantee refunds other than or in addition to those expressly provided for in this policy.

2. ABSENCE OF THE MODEL (MODEL NO-SHOW)

In the event of the model's unjustified absence on the day and at the time agreed for the photo shoot:

  • The client shall be entitled to a refund of the amount paid, excluding Stripe transaction fees.
  • Meet The Muse shall not be required to pay any additional compensation, indemnification, or penalty.
  • The model may be subject to internal measures, such as a warning, temporary suspension, or permanent exclusion from the platform, at the discretion of Meet The Muse.

The client retains the right to take direct action against the model, without this implying any liability, guarantee, or intervention on the part of Meet The Muse.

3. CANCELLATION BY THE CLIENT AFTER PAYMENT

In the event that the client cancels a session after making payment:

  • The client shall be entitled to a refund of the amount paid, excluding Stripe transaction fees.
  • Meet The Muse may retain the platform commission, where applicable, as consideration for the management and services provided.
  • The Client may be subject to internal penalties, which may include temporary blocking or exclusion from the platform, especially in the case of repeated or abusive cancellations.

Meet The Muse is not responsible for any financial, operational, or personal consequences resulting from the Client's cancellation.

4. CLIENT NO-SHOW

If the client does not show up for the photo shoot on the agreed date and time, without having made a cancellation in accordance with the platform:

  • No refund will be made to the client.
  • The amount corresponding to the service will be retained and made available to the model, together with the platform commission, in accordance with the applicable conditions.
  • The client will lose any right to a refund, compensation, or subsequent adjustment.

5. CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS, AND PAYMENTS OUTSIDE THE PLATFORM

Any payment, compensation, financial adjustment, or agreement made outside the platform expressly excludes any liability on the part of Meet The Muse and will not give rise to refunds, compensation, or intervention by the platform.

6. DISCLAIMER REGARDING REFUNDS

Meet The Muse shall not be liable for delays, errors, or failures in the execution of refunds when these are attributable to external payment providers, financial institutions, or incorrect information provided by the user.
